Summary:

We are looking for a Social Worker who is going to be responsible for managing the activities. The successful candidate will be able to supervise and develop the activities inside and outside the Center.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Welcoming and registering the beneficiaries personally, and answering their questions.
• Orienting the beneficiaries to the appropriate specialist that will process their request.
• Giving information about the services that the Community Center presents.
• Updating the information board that is present in the Community Center.
• Enter data on the computer & archiving all the files concerning the beneficiary lists and data entering them in collaboration with the program focal point.
• Archiving all the files concerning Beneficiary Relationship Management System.
• Answering phone calls.
• Archiving files, photocopying, checking office supplies.
• Doing all other administrative tasks as requested by the Community Center Coordinator.

Professional Qualification and Experience:

Essentials:

• Bachelor’s Degree is a minimum requirement, Sociology field is preferable.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in relevant field.
• Good command of the English language.
• Good command of the MS Word and Excel.

Desirable:

• Previous experience with non-profit organizations would be a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and to respect deadlines.
• Time Management skills.
• Commitment to the vision, mission, values, principles, and aims of GOPA-DERD.
• Flexibility and ability to easily adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced work environment.
